There are currently three options for Alaska residents and former Alaska residents to obtain a copy of their driving record. You may request the record by mail, by fax or by going to any Alaska DMV and showing proper identification. You may only obtain your personal record, unless you have a signed release to obtain a record for another person. Parents may obtain records for their minor children.
BY MAIL:
In order to obtain your driving record by mail, purchase the Alaska Driver Record Request form please include the following with your request:
BY FAX:
You must have either a MasterCard or VISA in order to request your driving record by fax. You would purchase and complete an Alaska Driver Record Request form and fax it to our Juneau Driver Licensing Office. The Juneau Office will normally mail it to you within five days of receiving the request or will fax it if you provide a fax number. If you do not receive the record within 5 days, please call the Juneau Office at 1-907-465-4363.
