We also coordinate administrative hearings on chemical test failures and test refusals, and manage proof of insurance requirements for drivers.

How do I get a copy of my Kansas driving record?
You can go to any Kansas Driver's License Exam Station. You will need to show your current driver's license for identification and make a $6.00 payment by check or money order payable to "Driver Control". You can also come to our office at the Docking State Office Building in Topeka during business hours, or send a written request with your full name, driver's license number, date of birth and current address along with your $6.00 payment to: Driver Control Bureau, P.O. Box 12021, Topeka, KS 66612-2021.

How do I get a copy of another person's Kansas driving record if approved by that individual?
You can come our office at the Docking State Office Building in Topeka, or send a letter with the person's full name, driver's license number, date of birth and your current mailing address to Driver Control Bureau, P.O. Box 12021, Topeka, KS 66612-2021. You must ALSO PROVIDE a letter signed by the driver authorizing you to have a copy of their driving record OR a completed 3rd Party Consent Form (TR/DL301) filled out by the driver ALONG with a $6.00 check or money order payable to "Driver Control". If coming in person to our office, cash payments can be accepted.
