IMPORTANT NOTICE IF YOU HAVE MOVED OUT OF MARYLAND:
If you have moved out-of-state and need a copy of your Maryland driving record, the transaction will need to be done by mail.
Request for Motor Vehicle Administration Records (form # DR-057) is an application form used to request motor vehicle records. This form can be filled out and brought in person to your local MVA office or mailed to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, 6601 Ritchie Highway NE, Glen Burnie, MD 21062. Please send requests for vehicle records to room 206. Please send requests for driving records to room 145. The Maryland remittance fee must be in the form of a check or money order made payable to the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). Checks must have an imprinted name and address. Please include your driver license number and your home or work phone number on your check.
Online Maryland Driver Records (Only available if you still live in Maryland)
A driving record ordered online cannot be mailed to another address and is mailed directly to the individual at the address that is currently on record with the MVA. Either a certified or non-certified copy of the driving record can be requested.
If you have an MVA PIN you may also view your driving record online. If you view your record online, a paper copy of the driving record will still be mailed to you within 10 business days to your address on file at MVA.
If you do not have a PIN, you can request one online. It will be mailed within 10 business days to the individual's address that is currently on record with the MVA.
The Maryland fees for three-year or complete driving records are:
- Certified Record: $12.00
- Non-Certified Record: $9.00
